ACF takes polluting companies to ACCC

Polluting companies have been threatening to move offshore as a result of the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. However, research done by the Australian Conservation Foundation and the Australian Climate Justice Program has found public statements to be misleading and contradicting information disclosed to shareholders. They have made a submission to the ACCC to investigate possible breaches of the Trade Practices Act. The 3rd degree’s Jessica Minshall speaks to Chuck Berger, Director of Strategic Ideas at the Australian Conservation Foundation.
